Another piece in this collection which draws directly from the local woodworking tradition, with the desk’s main surface top supported by a simple round wooden bar. A large, elegant arch carved into the back side of the desk references the main motif, but also offers full functionality and stability. To protect against daily wear and tear, the bottom edge of the arch – which also acts as a footrest – has been plated in brass. Complete with a full-grain leather writing pad, the desk’s authentic austerity encourages focus and promotes a sense of calm.
